Boost pedal with modified tone section. The capacitors were selected from extended use with CWS008, to be the exact same circuit when the pedal was in its most utilized setting. From this starting point, CWS016 is able to reduce (or increase) the treble gain to work well with a variety of pickups and settings. With the tone knob at about 2 o’clock, the circuit is identical to CWS008. The minimum setting on the tone knob was set so that the EQ was flat, and the volume knob on the left could act as a buffer or flat volume boost.
This pedal was used live on a European tour from August 14-25, 2018. It is shown below along with tremolo CWS006, and switcher CWS015.
